LAS VEGAS - Penyanyi Adele mendominasi ajang penghargaan Billboard Music Awards 2012. Tak tanggung-tanggung, dia meraup 12 piala dalam ajang yang diadakan di Las Vegas, pada Minggu, 20 Mei waktu setempat.

Dia bawa pulang piala untuk kategori ‘Top Artist’, ‘Top Female Artist’, ‘Top Billboard 200 Artist’, ‘Top Hot 100 Artist’, ‘Top Digital Songs Artist’, ‘Top Digital Media Artist’, ‘Top Radio Song Artist’, ‘Top Pop Artist’, ‘Top Billboard 200 Album (album 21)’, ‘Top Pop Album (album 21)’, ‘Top Streaming Song (Audio) (single Rolling in The Deep), serta ‘Top Alternative Song (single Rolling In The Deep)’.

Coldplay membawa pulang empat piala, termasuk ‘Top Rock Artist’ dan ‘Top Alternative Artist’. Sementata Lil Wayne membawa pulang tiga piala, yakni ‘Top Rap Artist’, ‘Top Rap Album, dan ‘Top Male Artist’.

Grup LMFAO dengan lagu "Party Rock Anthem" membawa pulang lima piala dengan meraih ‘Top Pop Song’, ‘Top R&B Song’, ‘Top Hot 100 song’, ‘Top Digital Song’, dan ‘Top Dance Song of The Year’.

Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, U2, Beyonce, juga berbagi piala di kategori lainnya.
